The cycle of wooden intricate sculptures "Self-core "

The wood intraded objects of the "Self-core" cycle are a record of the therapeutic process of the perception of the world. The process of making the work and the resulting object represent an abstract image, where abstraction is perceived as a filling of empty endless space, which ends up where a person stands.

"Self-core" is a diary of objects and images of wood that are created in a certain rhythm, meditation or altered state of consciousness, and capture this moment as a record of prayer, which must have certain rules, must be done in a certain way and repeated in individual works. Wooden paintings - intarsia surprised by the contrast between abstraction and figure, between concrete and something previously unspecified.

Wood is an organic natural material that fills the gallery space and transforms its purity and whiteness into a warm and warms space, actively involving it throughout the process in the exhibition and becoming an integral part of it. The object itself creates an illusion that it is constantly expanding from unceasingly "sinking" from one place to another, just as the plant shrugs its blooms firmly to get further and further into seemingly inaccessible places.

The author composes the objects in series and draws attention to their relationship. It creates the impression of a story, a story that has its clear phases: its beginning, its course and its end. In Silvie's inlays, two worlds interconnect: the inner - fantastic and the external, which surrounds it and gives it boundaries.

Another central theme of the project is the link with the author's father. This relationship plays a vital role in the attitude towards the outside world - the father is a certain proponent in the background. Invisible but omnipresent.

Silvie´s objects present a large, seemingly messy space, "rushing to" or "emerging" from a tiny figure placed in the marginal parts of the paintings. This theme is repeated in various variations.

Incursion creation itself is a mechanical and lengthy craftwork that determines a bright rhythm and ends with a clear dot (figure) like the word of the word amen.

All the works are part of the internal processes that the author records from the beginning of 2017 and have their continuation to this day.

Wooden objects consist of a wooden slab thick 2-3 cm (it can be hung on a wall or other flat foundation or laid on the ground or skirting). The whole surface of the board (even on the sides) is processed by the intarsion technique.
